Vice President, Investment Banking

Position Purpose:
RBC Capital Markets is looking to add a VP - Investment Banking, covering the Energy Sector.

Key Accountabilities:
Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Transaction execution within the energy sector, new business presentations and meetings, and other such duties, within the energy space.
* Work with Associates and Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materials.
* Help manage client relationships with Directors and Managing Directors.
* Foster relationships internally with other industry and product groups.

Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
* Bachelor’s degree required, MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accounting preferred.
* Minimum of five years investment banking experience, of which at least three years, within the Energy Sector.
* Knowledge and significant experience in the energy sector
* Solid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modeling.
* Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting.
* Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.
* Ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong teaming skills.
* Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organization.
* Must maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
* Series 7 & 63 licensed.
